My Man Mike Moore
As a Georgia Bulldog homer, I pick an under the radar player every year to pull for on an individual level. With a family of six, I buy new jerseys every year for every member of the family. My son, Eli, is wearing #35 this year, my eldest, Sarah, picked #8, Hannah wears #4 due to our Gwinnett ties, Gracie has #9 because she will light you up.
This year I was torn on my selection. Mackie almost had me convinced to wear #7 for Mathew Staford Orson Charles. Ultimately, I went with #82 and it was a costly decision. No stores stocked #82 and I had to order it custom. Anything for the economy I guess. While I may be able to blame credit Bernie for the decision, I have no regrets.
I am a Mike Moore fan. Surely he had higher expectations for the season, both personally and team wise, but I find no fault in his play. Perhaps, in Stillwater, he didn’t block as well down field as the coaches demand. I really don’t know. As the youngsters have come on, Mike has seen his playing time decrease.
As we prepare for Senior Night without AJ Green, many of you are probaly hoping Wooten or Brown have a break out game. I would love to see that too. Heck, I would love to see Tift County’s Israel Troupe rack up big umbers as well. But on this night, I am pulling harder than ever for Mike Moore.
I love Mike’s attitude. My blurred vision sometimes fails me during the games. I often fast forward the Tivo in order to get to key parts of games on review. No faults have I found with Mike’s game. The ball just hasn’t come his way that often in the later half of the season.
Kentucky was a coming out party of sorts for Mr. Moore. I, for one, hope he reemerges against the Cats once again.
GATA Mike, and when you are done, twoof, twoof, twoof about it. You deserve it.

Great tribute to a great Dawg! (and you’re obviously a pretty good dad too)
Not sure what I’m being credited with, but I’ll take it. OchoDos is one of a kind.
